Porsche European Open Live Stream
It is a bit of an odd week on the European Tour this week with the Coronavirus pandemic still having an impact on live sport.
Last year's Porsche European Open was cancelled and Covid-19 has seriously impacted on this year's event too, with the tournament now starting on Saturday, and only running over 54 holes. That means it finishes a day later than normal on Monday.
The tournament was meant to start on Thursday, June 3rd and run over four days, but with the German government's recent changes to its Coronavirus policy, tournaments organisers shifted around the date to avoid it getting cancelled for the 2nd straight year.
On the host venues website, the Green Eagle Golf Course, it says; "Due to the regulations, almost a third of the 156-player field, together with a similar number of caddies and a considerable number of European Tour staff, had not been able to enter Germany."
The European Tour's chief executive Keith Pelley added: "The significant changes in travel that were announced last week made it simply impossible for us to start the Porsche European Open as planned, without affecting the integrity of the tournament.

Regardless of all this bad news, there is still golf going to be played this week with a number of big names in attendance like Paul Casey, Henrik Stenson, and last week's winner Bernd Wiesberger.
Mexican Abraham Ancer has also made the trip over as well.
