Peter Hanson won the Czech Open following a play-off and has moved into eighth place in the qualifying list for Europe's Ryder Cup team with just one event to go.
The Swede's victory bumps Paul Casey out of automatic qualifying after the Englishman elected not to play in Celadna.
Casey, Padraig Harrington, Luke Donald and Justin Rose will not be at the race-ending Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles, which means Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie has some tough decisions on who to leave out with only three wildcard picks available to him.
Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez, who finished tied seventh at the Czech Open, occupies the ninth and last automatic qualifying spot.
Hanson did what he had to and sealed a hugely impressive win considering the circumstances, with Ryder Cup qualification at place, with a birdie on the second extra hole to beat Gary Boyd and Peter Lawrie.
Hanson had saw his four-shot overnight lead vanish and he was caught by Tour rookie Boyd (68) and Irishman Lawrie (66), but he was composed enough to hole a crucial 18-footer for victory.
"To make that putt feels fantastic," said the 32-year-old who has now secured three wins from three in play-offs.

"And to know I had to come here and win [to climb into the top nine on the points table] and pull it off feels great. There's another week to go, but it looks so much better now."
