Monty hurt in car accident
European Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie has been involved in a collision just outside Glasgow and has been admitted to hospital with minor injuries

Colin Montgomerie has been injured in a car crash near Glasgow and is understood to be nursing some minor injuries.
The Scot's BMW collided this morning with a van on the outskirts of Glasgow but the cause of the crash is unknown.
Monty is believed to have suffered minor injuries from the crash and has been admitted to Glasgow's Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
Europe's successful Ryder Cup captain at Celtic Manor earlier this month
has been dogged with injury in his career recently, failing to
record a win on tour since 2007.
His world ranking has suffered as a result and he is currently placed 153rd in the European Tour's Race to Dubai.
