The European Tour is back in South Africa this week, take a look at who our tipster has picked for his Joburg Open golf betting tips
Joburg Open golf betting tips
Having travelled all over Asia in the last few weeks the European Tour is back in South Africa for the Joburg Open at the Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club.
Last year the event was won by home player George Coetzee and he along with Alex Noren are most fancied in the markets.
The tournament is played over the East and West courses at the Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club and to reflect this I have picked two players in each half of the draw.
The £10 betting challenge with our bloggers DownThe18th continues - results so far are at the bottom of this post, or to read about how we both did last week check out their blog.

Andy Sullivan £2 each way at 16/1 - 5th last season in this event and playing some exceptional golf this year so far. Won in South Africa in his last start in this country. He is the person we are looking to carry us home this week
Justin Walters £1 each way at 50/1 - A horse for a course - was tied 2nd here in 2014 and was 16th the year before. His form is pretty ordinary… that’s putting in politely, but it was coming into the event last season, too.
SSP Chawrasia £1 each way at 100/1 - He may have blown his chance to win last week, but he is in very decent form with three top 10s in his last 4 starts. His odds seem far to long for someone in such good form.
Matthew Fitzpatrick £1 each way at 125/1 - The young Englishman is still finding his way on the Tour but I feel this could be a week that he does well. Was 5th when he last played in South Africa in January and his scoring although unspectacular recently is consistant.
All odds from Paddy Power. Each way bets - ¼ odds top 5 places.
