Joburg Open Golf Betting Tips

The Joburg Open has already been played once this calendar year, but it is in a new position on the schedule and also at a new venue, Randpark Golf Club, for the 2018 season.

Last season Darren Fichardt won the Joburg Open in wet weather conditions at the Royal Johanesburg & Kensington Golf Club – the South African is 25/1 to defend his title.

Favourites for the event are Louis Oosthuizen (11/2) and, last week’s winner, Dylan Frittelli (9/1) – South Africans fill the lower priced players in the market.

The GM Tipster has had another successful year check out his profit at our golf betting tips homepage.

Joburg Open Golf Betting Tips Advised Bets

Dean Burmester 4 points each way at 22/1 with Sportnation.bet – The home favourite won the Tshwane Open earlier this season and is a massive threat on South African tracks. Was 4th a couple of weeks ago at the DP World Tour Championship and I like his price this week.

Romain Langasque 2 points each way at 50/1 with Sportnation.bet – The Frenchman has been through the mill this year having missed 16 of the 27 cuts he was involved in. However it is now doubt he is a talent, and with a much improved 3rd place finish last week, I am backing his return to form will continue this week.

Justin Walters 2 points each way at 60/1 with Sportnation.bet – Another dangerous South African who needs to be considered on home turf. Finished 14th last week and had a 3rd at the KLM Open in mid September.

Daniel Brooks 1 point each way at 100/1 with Sportnation.bet – The Englishman had a solid if unspectacular 2017 season, but impressed with a 3rd place finished at the Andalucia Valderrama Masters, which as a course that requires similar attributes to the test of this week at Randpark.

Please do bet responsibly and the best of luck to you.
