ISPS Handa Wales Open betting guide
Golf returns to the valleys of Wales as the European Tour once more visits Celtic Manor for the ISPS Handa Wales Open. Here are our tips to who will do well on the Twenty Ten Course
Home of the 2010 Ryder Cup, the Wales Open proves a proper test of golf as the Twenty Ten course which it is played over has large amounts of bunkers and water in play.
Alexander Noren won last year with a score of nine under par, but there are plenty of players on the hunt for Ryder Cup points and Race to the Dubai money to make sure he doesn't have an easy ride defending his title.
Paul Lawrie at 14/1 is just about playing the best golf of his career, won the Wales Open in 2002 although missed the cut here last year. A strong second place finish last week at Wentworth means he is in good form.
Jamie Donaldson at 25/1 the home favourite is having a decent year so far and is inside the magical top 60 on The Race to Dubai rankings as they currently stand. Had a top 10 finish here last season, so knows his way around the course.

Pablo Larrazabal at 33/1 The Spaniard has had a good season so far this year with a couple of top 10s and is currently 33rd in The Race to Dubai. Finished tied 4th last season here and could well be challenging come Sunday afternoon.
Miguel Angel Jimenez at 40/1 Seems a very large price for someone as good as Jimenez in what is not an overly strong field. Has had three top 10s this season but has stumbled on the greens. Reported to be changing from the belly putter he has been using to a regular sized short stick this week, which could be the tonic his game needs.

Marc Warren at 100/1 the former World Cup winning scot managed to qualify for his first Major this week when US Open qualifying took place at Walton Heath. Has not captured the form which saw him finish 3rd at the Joburg Open in January recently, but will be on a high after qualifying to play at the San Francisco in a few weeks time.
