Humana Challenge betting guide
The PGA Tour returns to the mainland this week for the Humana Challenge at the beautiful La Quinta Golf Club in California.
Three golf courses are utilised during the tournament - LA Quinta Country Club, Nicklaus Private at PGA West and Palmer Private at PGA West - with the last round taking place on the latter.
The event boasts a stronger field this year, with the likes of Zach Johnson, Webb Simpson, Keegan Bradley and Brandt Snedeker all taking part.
The event saw a number of low-60 scores last year and none of the courses are tight off the tee, so low scoring is definitely the order of the day.
Johnson is the 12/1 favourite with Ladbrokes, and while he's in excellent form, I'd be tempted to look elsewhere.
I can see Keegan Bradley, at 16/1 with Ladbrokes, flying out of the blocks in his first appearance of 2014. He'll be chomping at the bit after sitting out the Hyundai Tournament of Champions for this first time in three years, and his aggressive disposition and long hitting make him an ideal choice this week.

Ryan Palmer, at 25/1 with Ladbrokes, is another long hitter who stands a good chance this week. The Texan has finished inside the top six at La Quinta on two of his last three appearances and he's coming off the back of a tie for 8th last week.
Charles Howell III, at 33/1 with Ladbrokes, is an ideal candidate this week. He tends to play his best golf at the start of the year and he finished with a pair of 66s over the weekend at the Sony Open to force his way into the top 10. He also missed out in a play-off at the Humana Challenge last year, so he'll be hoping to go one better this time around.
Kevin Chappel, at 80/1 with Ladbrokes, is winless thus far on the PGA Tour, but this could be the week he records a maiden victory. He resides in California, he finished with a 62 here last year en route to a top 10 and he's an excellent ball striker.
David Lingmerth, at 150/1 with Ladbrokes, looks very well priced this week. Granted, he's missed three of his last four cuts, but those odds are very high when you consider the Swede forced his way into a play-off at the Humana Challenge last year.
