Goosen to compete in Welsh Open
Retief Goosen will make his debut at the Welsh Open, which is being held at Celtic Manor next month

Retief Goosen will start as favourite when he steps onto Celtic Mano's Roman Road course this summer, for his debut in the European Tour's Welsh Open.
The double Major winner announced his intention to play in the well-renowned event, which will run from May 31 ? June 3, at a press event this week.
?I?m really looking forward to making my first appearance at Celtic Manor," said the 38-year-old. ?I feel in good shape this season and I?ll be coming back here next month with the aim of winning another big tournament on the European Tour."
The South African, who won the Qatar Masters in January and finished tied for second at The Masters, is confident that there will be a strong challenge for the £250,000 first prize.
?I?m sure it will be another very strong field for this year?s tournament but I?m confident I can give them a run for their money," said the world number eight. Colin Montgomerie, Ian Poulter and defending champion, Robert Karlsson are among those expected to compete at the top of the leaderboard.
