Golf tips of the week: Improving distance tips
Our golf tips of the week are taken from Top 25 Coach Andrew Jones who demonstrates how six everyday household items can transform your game.
Golf tip 2. Pen drill
If you are prone to hitting low drives that suffer from a lack of distance, this drill will help you resolve the problem. Place a pen between your front teeth and hit a few balls. The pen should point to the right of the ball, which should be in line with your left instep at address. As you return to this position through impact your body will be behind the ball allowing you to find the kind of high flight that will optimise your distance stats.
