Golf Monthly's week that was
A look back at the last seven days in the world of golf, including Tour news, equipment reviews and all the lastest from the Golf Monthly Forum.
The shorter week has meant a busy few days in GM Towers with work well underway on the July Issue. Some sunny weather has been quite distracting, as have events in Florida where The Players Championship is underway. A good weekend of golf beckons.
Those of you visiting the Golf Monthly Forum have had your say on the upcoming debate on mobile phones and the ‘code’ in the clubhouse and on the course. It’s looking like a hot topic and a debate that could run close in our July poll.
Our competitions are being uploaded thick and fast. There are some great prizes currently on offer including a PowaKaddy Freeway II Lithium and Deluxe II bag, plus a chance to win a round with snooker legend Willie Thorne.
We’ve also been busy reviewing new equipment such as the Snake Eyes XT driver. Testing all the latest gear never gets tiresome as we look to help you sharpen your games up for the summer.
We continue to provide you with all the latest news from the industry as well as golf opinion from the office. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the Noticeboard for all the latest announcements and golf news, as well as our travel section if you’re planning a trip away.
Next week we’ll have another new equipment guide, plus we'll have reports from an exciting weekend of golf on both sides of the Atlantic. Have a good weekend.
