AIR FORCE GOLF ON THE HORIZON
Air Force Golf is set to be unleashed on the golfing world in the coming weeks and months. The brainchild of Marrtin Gerardo, it is an inventive way of enabling those who are physically unable to swing a golf club the chance to play the game.
Using an air pressured cylinder to fire the ball anything from 300 yards to as little as a few feet the disabled, and able-bodied too, are able to enjoy a round of golf without slowing the pace of play for other players on the course.

LEADING LIGHTS LEND SUPPORT TO CHARITY DAY
The Chris Lucas Trust is holding a charity fundraiser for Childhood Cancer Research at Maften Hall on Sunday September 30 and some of the biggest names in sport have shown their support.
Newly retired Seve Ballesteros has signed a number of items for the auction, as have Nick Faldo, Jack Nicklaus and world number 15 Justin Rose. Also lending her support is Dame Ellen MacArthur who has signed part of a sail, all of which will be auctioned off to help raise much needed investment for the charity.
For a minimum donation of £220 per team of four you can book your own place in the event and enjoy one of the finest courses in Northumberland as part of the deal. For more information visit www.chrislucastrust.com.
FIRST CHARITY FUNDRAISER A HUGE SUCCESS FOR DALE
Leading trick-shot entertainer Jeremy Dale has raised a massive £15,000 for the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign, after hosting a charity fundraiser at his home club of Stapleford Park Country House Hotel and Sporting Estate.
The 33-year-old hosted the John Dale Memorial Charity Golf Day, in memory of his late father, and over 150 guests enjoyed an 18-hole competition, followed by one of Jeremy?s trademark trick-shot exhibitions.
In the evening a number of exclusive items were auctioned off as well, including a pair of weekend tickets to the 2008 US Masters at the Augusta National.
?This was a successful first attempt at event management for me, and I was pleased to bring so many people to Stapleford for a great cause. Plans have already started for next year?s event,? said Dale.
WALKER CUP TICKETS ARE ON SALE
The Walker Cup begins in earnest on September 8th and tickets are now on sale for the illustrious amateur event at Royal County Down in Northern Ireland.
An adult ticket will cost £25 per day, but there will be concessions for under-16s costing just £10.
?We have limited the daily attendance to ensure that it remains comfortable for spectators to follow the match of their choice round the course. We are anticipating a large and enthusiastic local support as Great Britain and Ireland attempt to regain the Walker Cup.?
?I would therefore advise intending spectators to apply for tickets as soon as possible to avoid the disappointment of being unable to watch the match,? said David Hill, the Director of Championships for The R&A.
