European Tour Q-School returns to Las Colinas
The European Tour have confirmed Las Colinas Golf and Country Club will host the second stage of Q-School in November
Stage two of the European Tour's Qualifying School will return to Las Colinas Golf and Country Club for the second consecutive year.
The ambitious destination - which continues to impress on the international stage - will host the tournament in November, an accolade which underlines the all-round quality of the venue.
Located just south of Alicante on Spain's Mediterranean coast, the club - designed by Cabell B. Robinson - was named among Continental Europe's top 100 courses in October 2011.
"It is clear that Las Colinas Golf and Country Club is an outstanding development with a course of the highest standard. Naturally, we're thrilled to be returning there later this year," said Mike Stewart, the European Tour's Tournament Director.
"The event was a resounding success last year and the players were in rich praise for what is an immaculately presented golf course."
The course received many plaudits in 2011 as Branden Grace, three-time European Tour winner in 2012, and Dutchman Tim Sluiter advanced out of Q-School.
"We are delighted to have once again been chosen by the European Tour to host what has become such an important event for so many aspiring young golfers," said Cristobal Guerrero, Managing Director, Las Colinas Golf and Country Club.
