Europe dominate Royal Trophy
The experience of Europe’s Ryder Cup players shone through as Europe defeated Asia convincingly in the Royal Trophy in Bangkok.

Seve Ballesteros? European team dominated the Royal Trophy defeating Asia by 12½ to 3½ at the Amata Spring Country Club, Bangkok.
Team Europe played some great golf in the first two days of fourballs and foursomes leaving Asia with the mammoth task of needing to win all seven singles matches. Defending champions Europe continued there dominance by winning five of the eight singles matches on Sunday.
England's Lee Westwood gave the Europeans their first win by defeating Japan's Toru Taniguchi. Paul McGinley, Anthony Wall and Robert Karlsson were also victorious while Henrik Stenson and Darren Clarke halved with YE Yang and Prom Meesawat respectively. Tonchai Jaidee achieved Asia?s only victory of the day with his 2&1 win over Niclas Fasth.
"It's fantastic. Asia played great but Europe played better, Europe played unbelievable golf. It was no surprise because they beat the U.S. badly,? said Ballesteros.
