Els signs for Callaway
Ernie Els has ended his deal with Titleist and is now on Callaway's books
Ernie Els has signed an equipment deal with Callaway.
The terms of the contract are yet to be disclosed but he is expected to play with a Callaway HX Tour 56 golf ball, a Callaway bag and sport the Callaway logo on his cap. He will be using Callaway clubs but has not yet chosen a particular model.
Els said: ?I?m extremely excited to partner with Callaway Golf because of its ongoing product innovation and commitment to making the game of golf better for golfers.
?I am always looking to improve my game and my new relationship with Callaway Golf will play a key role in achieving this.?
Els, who turns 38 this year, has terminated his deal with Titleist a year early and follows in the footsteps of Phil Mickelson who made the same move in 2004.
