€1,000,000 bonus for double winner
If a European Tour player wins both the Irish Open and BMW PGA Championship they will be rewarded with a bonus of €1,000,000.

One golfer can take home £1,460,000 from two tournaments in successive weeks. All they need to do is win both the Irish Open and the BMW PGA Championship.
The unique incentive of a one million Euro (£680,000) bonus for winning both tournaments was offered by Tom Kane, owner of Adare Manor, where the Irish Open is being held.
As well as the bonus there will be a first prize of £285,000 for the Irish Open ? from May 17-20 ? and £495,000 for the PGA Championship a week later at Wentworth (May 24-27).
Seve Ballesteros (1983), Bernard Langer (1987) and Ian Woosnam (1988) have won the titles in the same season. But on each occasion, the events were played in different months. Nick Faldo, Colin Montgomerie and José Maria Olazábal have all won both events, but in different years.
Kane said: ?I have no doubt this bonus prize fund will help encourage even more of the world?s top players to participate at Adare Manor.
?It would give me no greater pleasure than to see our Irish Open champion make the trip to Wentworth the following week and capture the ?1million bonus prize.
?I am delighted that we now have in place a mutually beneficial association with an event as prestigious as the BMW PGA Championship and I firmly believe it reinforces our commitment to creating a new and improved brand for the Irish Open.?
