Crowne Plaza Invitational: golf betting guide
Our tipster gives his thoughts on the PGA Tour event at the Crowne Plaza Invitational
The PGA Tour remains in Texas this week for the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. Zach Johnson defends the title at "Hogan's Alley."
Capable of stretching to 7,204 yards (since 2009), Colonial rewards ball-strikers and those with experience on the track.
Defending champions Zach Johnson is a short priced favourite at 14/1
Kevin Streelman at 20/1 with Ladbrokes, is the form player on the PGA Tour has 5 top tens this year which include a 1st, 2nd and 3rd. In a field without Tiger, Mickelson, Woods, Donald and Westwood... he is going to have a chance.
Matt Kuchar at 20/1 with Ladbrokes, hasn't missed a cut in six appearances at Colonial where he's posted two top 20s. A superb striker of the ball he has four top 10s this season already.
Sang-Moon Bae 50/1 with Ladbrokes, he did win last week didn't he? At odds of 50/1 and with the guts he showed last week, take a look at him again this.
Boo Weekley 100/1 with Ladbrokes, the course should help pure ball strikers and Boo Weekley is certainly one of them. Having a very good year, if he can get his putter to behave look out for him.
