Crowne Plaza Invitational betting guide
Played at Colonial Country Club a course which suits the most accurate of hitters, here are Golf Monthly's tipster picks for the Crowne Plaza Invitational
The Colonial Country Club course is all about hitting fairways and greens, when you get onto the greens the players rarely have problems on the small but relatively flat surfaces.
The biggest problem the players will probably encounter is the wind, which will almost certainly blow up on occasions.
The tournament is an invitational so only has 120 golfers so expect the odds to represent this.
Hunter Mahan at 25/1 7th most accurate driver and 5th best GIR player on the PGA Tour stats he ticks all the right boxes. Has already won this year as well, so should do well.
Louis Oosthuizen at 33/1 seems to be suffering from a slight post Masters headache. If his game and swing is on then he is ideally suited to keep his ball in play and to go low.

Harris English at 66/1 went very low in qualifying for the Open with a 60 and 63 at Gleneagles Country Club in Plano, Texas at IFQ America. Will obviously be very pleased with his game at the moment and could carry momentum into this tournament.

Kris Blanks at 100/1 Big outsider this, but has a very decent record at Colonial in his past two visits where he has finished in the top 15. Also has a solid fairways hit and GIR stats.
Sergio Garcia at 33/1 won at Colonial in 2001 and was 16th last season, while the majority of Europe's golfers are at Wentworth he will be wanting to make sure people don't forget him this week.
