Brora is one of the few courses that meets the criteria for that cliché, ?hidden gem?. It?s a superb links that retains a touch of wildness and invokes memories of golf as it used to be.
Course layout: The open terrain suggests little trouble but well placed tee shots are crucial. Approaching from the wrong side of the fairway can be extremely challenging. The 17th is the toughest hole at Brora. A demanding drive on this 438-yard par 4 is followed by a second shot to a green protected by gaping bunkers.
