Cleveland CG15 & Callaway X-Forged Jaws wedge
Golf Monthly takes a look at 15 of the wedges on the market, including the Wilson Staff TW9, Mizuno MP-T10, Snake Eyes 685BX and Cleveland CG15
Cleveland CG15 wedge, £99
Key technology: A traditional shape is combined with revolutionary new technology. The face of the wedge has four laser-milled lines between each groove. This rough surface optimises friction between face and ball.
The impressive amount of spin on offer encourages you to be aggressive, something that really helps on shots from sand and the rough. A great-looking wedge.
Callaway X-Forged Jaws wedge, £89
Key technology: MACK Daddy Grooves are designed to give added spin and control on all shots. The C-Grind sole allows the face to be laid open while keeping the leading edge down.
Callaway wedges with MACK Daddy grooves always provide incredible amounts of spin and the new design is no exception. We preferred the Chrome finish here to the Dark Vintage version pictured.
