Celtic Manor issues more Ryder Cup tickets
The Celtic Manor Resort is offering golfing fans one last chance to get their hands on Ryder Cup tickets ahead of the big showdown in Newport from October 1-3
The Celtic Manor Resort is offering golfing fans one last chance to get their hands on Ryder Cup tickets ahead of the big showdown in Newport from October 1-3.
Even though the ticket ballots have closed, golfers who purchase the Celtic Manor exclusive Twenty Ten membership before the end of June will receive tickets for the 2010 Ryder Cup. This membership will also grant playing access to the Twenty Ten course and four complimentary room nights in the Hotel over the year.
The Twenty Ten course is the only course that has been custom built for the Ryder Cup and last week it proved its worth, hosting the Wales Open where Golf Monthly's columnist, Graeme McDowell was victorious.
After sampling the course at the Wales Open, 2008 European Ryder Cup player Oliver Wilson commented: "It's going to be ideal for exciting match play because there are so many risk-and-reward holes.
"The overall condition of the course for the Wales Open was fantastic."
There is also a Country Membership available, where golfers living outside a 75 mile radius of the Resort, can gain full playing access to the Twenty Ten Course as well as complimentary use of the leisure facilities at Celtic Manor for a £2,000 joining fee and a £2,000 annual subscription. Added to this is the use of the two other championship courses at Celtic Manor - Roman Road and The Montgomerie - as well as two season tickets to the Celtic Manor Wales Open.
Those eager to buy the exclusive Twenty Ten membership, with guaranteed 2010 Ryder Cup tickets, should call 01633 410 300.
