Carnoustie to host 2007 Pairs UK final
The UK final of the International Pairs will be played over Carnoustie's Championship and Burnside courses in October.

Just three months after hosting the Open Championship Carnoustie will host the UK Pairs final, where teams will compete for the men's, ladies and mixed championships.
The winners of all three categories will qualify for the Pairs world final, where they will represent their countries on the world stage. The competitors will experience first hand the changes made to Carnoustie's Championship course for this year's Open. These include new fairway bunkers, a redesigned third hole and the removal of a number of trees since the Open was last staged there in 1999. Two rounds over one of the toughest link's courses in the world will no doubt produce worthy winners of one of the biggest amateur events of the season.
Ross Honey, who founded the International Pairs in 1998, was delighted by the announcement, saying: ?Carnoustie has got an incredible reputation and truly has one of the finest golf courses in the world. It shows the regard in which the International Pairs is held that we are able to work with such prominent and respected venues.?
Graeme Duncan, the general manager of Carnoustie Golf Links, said: ?Carnoustie Golf Links is proud to be hosting the UK final of the International Pairs 2007, which continues our association with this prestigious and very successful amateur event.?
