Callaway Golf professional Alvaro Quiros, who was the longest driver on the European Tour last season, has added more distance to his game thanks to the Callaway Golf Tour iX golf ball.
The Spaniard, winner of the Qatar Masters in January, has been steadily increasing his driving distance over the past few years, and in 2008 he averaged a massive 309 yards.
But, the Callaway Tour iX, designed with a 4-piece structure, has enabled Quiros to increase his average drive to 315 yards this season.
Featuring a tungsten-infused outer core, the Callaway Tour iX produces reduced driver spin for increased distance and accuracy, while the lower compression inner core provides low spin off the driver for great distance, and the higher compression outer core gives control around the greens.
Callaway Golf President Neil Howie, said: “He has already shown he can bomb the ball from the tee box and back that up with great play around the greens.
“With the switch to the Callaway Golf Tour iX, we’re sure he can continue the great start he has had to this season, and put more trophies in his cabinet.”
