Buick Open golf betting: Advised bets and prices
Golf betting and golf betting guide for the Buick Open. Tiger Woods is back in action and is the huge favourite despite a poor showing at Turnberry, but our golf bets tipster provides his usual comprehensive form and course guide to give you the best chance of beating the bookies.
Likewise, this looks perfect for RORY SABBATINI, whose 60/1 odds may represent a slight over-reaction to a series of poor results. Sabbatini has missed five of his last seven events, but as four came in the US Open, Open Championship, Players Championship and Quail Hollow Championship, they don't tell us anything significant about his form. Rory has never been suited to tough, championship golf courses, as his dire record in those events illustrates. In the middle of that run, he won the Byron Nelson Championship where scoring was ideally low, and it would be no surprise to see a return to that level of form at Warwick Hills.
The emphasis on birdie-chasing and par 5 performance also informs my other two selections, DANIEL CHOPRA and JONATHAN BYRD. Chopra has already prospered at Warwick Hills, making the top-20 three times from five, and looks to be coming into form after a similar return from his last five events. Bearing in mind that the Swede has won twice before on each of the PGA and Nationwide Tours, he clearly knows how to get the job done. Finally at up to 100/1, Byrd represents a cracking each-way bet as he generally seems to thrive on low scoring courses with four par 5s. His last ten starts have yielded five top-15s including two top-5s, which must make at least the place portion of that bet good value. Good Luck! Advised bets for the Buick Open 12pts win TIGER WOODS @ 15/8 (SKYBET, BETFRED, BETFAIR) 1.5pts ew NICK WATNEY @ 40/1 (LADBROKES, CORALS) 1pt ew RORY SABBATINI @ 60/1 (TOTE, STAN JAMES) 1pt ew DANIEL CHOPRA @ 70/1 (STAN JAMES, 75/1 BET365) 1pt ew JONATHAN BYRD @ 80/1 (GENERAL, 100/1 TOTE) Where next?
