The Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship finished on a high as stars from the world of sport and television turned out to celebrate the final day of the championship at Nailcote Hall, Warwickshire

The Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship finished on a high as stars from the world of sport and television turned out to celebrate the final day of the championship at Nailcote Hall, Warwickshire.   Sir Bobby Charlton, Peter Shilton OBE and Len Goodman were amongst a number of celebrities competing in the Celeb-Am.   Former England and Yorkshire cricketer Brian Close added to his victory in Tuesday's Celeb-Am after finishing one-under-par. In the team competition it was the Farmfoods team led by Eric Herd who won the contest beating the Nailcote Hall team by one point.   Teeing off with the final parties was former England and Manchester United legend, Sir Bobby Charlton and the 1966 World Cup winner said: ""This is a great event, a superb location and I have really enjoyed myself, I will certainly try and come back next year and improve on my performance this year.".   The Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship was a great success and saw PGA professional Richard O'Hanlon win the prestigious competition finishing on six-under-par.   The event will return next year and will look to build on this year's success.   Where next?   Equipment: New PING S56 irons Competitions: Win some great golf prizes
