BMW International Open: golf betting guide
This week is the BMW International Open, check out who our tipster Tom Clarke has gone for this week
The BMW International Open has changed venues from last year and will be contested over Cologne's Golf Club Gut Larchenhof.
However this course has hosted European Tour events in the past with the 7,289-yard, par 72 course hosting the Mercedes-Benz Championship and Linde German Masters between 1998 and 2009.
Past winners of those events include Sergio Garcia, Bernhard Langer and James Kingston.
By all accounts the course should be an interesting test with water coming into play on half the holes, but the scoring could well be low if scores over the course's previous tournaments are anything to go by.
Retief Goosen
at 25/1 with Ladbrokes The South African finished third in last year's tournament, won at this course in 2005 at the Linde German Masters, had a good performance at the US Open last week and is a decent price. All plus points so well worth a punt.

at 33/1 with Ladbrokes Managed to finishd 2nd a few weeks back at the Wales Open and has had three other top ten finishes this year. I like this price compared to the other good European Tour players playing here this week.
Pablo Larrazabal
at 40/1 with Ladbrokes Is the defending champion, however that was over another course. Has been playing extremely solid from tee to green this season without making the putts. This could well be his week again this season.

Thongchai Jaidee
at 66/1 with Ladbrokes A surprising price for someone who won the Wales Open a few weeks back. Whether the course will suit his game is still to be seen, but a decent each way shout.
Tom Lewis
at 100/1 with Ladbrokes The Englishman's season has yet to really take off, however the feeling on Tour is he is one good round away from being a threat week in week out. Has had a couple of weeks rest since the Wales Open and will looking to play better on the run up to the Open.
