Avantha Masters golf betting guide
All the latest betting odds and tips ahead of the European Tour's Avantha Masters at the DLF Golf & Country Club in India

The European Tour moves onto to India this week for the Avantha Masters at the DLF Golf & Country Club in New Delhi.
Ladbrokes have Welshman Jamie Donaldson and Holland's Joost Luiten as the joint-favourites at
16/1.
There are few standout players in this field so I think this is a chance to have a punt on some of the players with longer prices.
Running down the odds list there are a number of viable contenders such as Marcel Siem and Thongchai Jaidee at
25/1, while France's Gregory Havret is at
20/1.

The first player that really tempts me to part with my cash this week is Scott Jamieson at
33/1. Jamieson has started the season in very good form with a couple of impressive performances in the Middle East.
The Scotsman built on his 12th place finish in Qatar with a top five finish in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. He is the form pick this week and is worth a few pounds each-way.
There are a number of other players that look to be priced quite highly in this particular market. Gareth Maybin, at
50/1, has put in a couple of tidy performances so far this year and could well build on that in India where he has some experience.
At the same price though is the defending champion, S.S.P Chowrasia. For a man who has won this tournament twice, and on different courses against stronger fields,
50/1 looks a big price and I'll be sticking a couple of pounds on the Indian.
My final pick for this week is going to be England's Oliver Fisher at
66/1. Fisher retired after the first round last year and finished in eighth place in his other start in India.
Having claimed his first European Tour title last year, if he can get himself in contention again, he will have the confidence to go on and seal the victory in a field of this strength.
