Arnold Palmer Invitational golf betting guide
Arnold Palmer's tournament is always full of big names. Take a look at who we think will do well this week as the run up to the Masters begins.
The PGA Tour returns to Bay Hill for the final leg of its Florida swing and it should come as no surprise that 'The King' has managed to attract a strong field.
In previous years this tournament has been little more than a formality for Tiger Woods: Since 2000 he has won it six times, is a cumulative eighty under par, and is favourite at 8/1. Still searching for his first win since November 2009 Woods has showed signs of form lately and may rediscover his touch this week.
Defending champion Ernie Els is one of only four others apart from Woods to have won this event multiple times. His sole win of the 2011 season came back in December but at 33/1 he could prove good money.
Apart from the big names you may do well to look at Sean O'Hair. Top three finishes in 2008 and 2009 preceded a top-25 finish last year. A return to Bay Hill could mark a change in his indifferent form this year and he may prove wise for an each-way at 50/1.
There are a number of Europeans in the field but most eyes will be on Graeme McDowell who comes in at 16/1 along with previous winner of this event Phil Mickelson.

Italian Matteo Manassero has extra incentive as a top finish will likely put him into the world's top 50 - a prerequisite for entry into the Masters. At 66/1, and with momentum from a top-20 last week, he could prove useful as an each-way bet.

Rickie Fowler, at 33/1, has shown a knack for performing in the big tournaments this year with top ten finishes at both World Golf Championships and his gritty performance in the Ryder Cup shows he can perform on the big stage. This week would be the perfect place to pick up his first trophy.
