Dundonald Links to Host Both Men's and Women's Scottish Opens
Dundonald Links in Ayrshire will host both the Men's and Women's Aberdeen Assett Management Scottish Opens next year.
Each take place the week before the Open at Royal Birkdale and the Women's Open at Kingsbarns. It is the first time ever both the men's and women's Scottish Opens have taken place on the same golf course.

Richard Mansell Shoots 58 With Incredible Back Nine
Just look at that back nine! Great golf and congratulations Richard.
Bernhard Langer Caps Three Years of Dominance
Bernhard Langer won the Charles Schwab cup at the weekend for the third year running and fourth in total (no other man has won the trophy more than twice). The German's incredible season of 21 events featured 18 top tens and his worst finish was a tie for 13th!
The 59-year-old is T2nd on the all-time Champions Tour winners list with 29 victories, and has 102 professional career wins worldwide including two Masters titles in 1985 and 1993.
Entries Open for 2017 Sunningdale Foursomes
The 87th Sunningdale Foursomes, first played in 1934, has begun to accept entries. The handicap limit is 3 for amateurs.
The tournament, which is always oversubscribed, is to be played from Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th March 2017.

Luke Donald's Vietnam Design Voted World's Best New Golf Course
For the second year in a row, a Vietnamese golf course has been voted ‘World’s Best New Golf Course’ at the World Golf Awards in Portugal.
Last year, it was The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip, a Greg Norman creation. This year, it’s Ba Na Hills Golf Club, Luke Donald’s first design anywhere.
Wood Picks Sullivan to Represent England With at World Cup
The 2016 Ryder Cuppers will be looking to win the World Cup for England for the first time since 2004 at Kingston Heath Golf Club in Australia next week.
Team England was originally Danny Willett and Lee Westwood but Willett pulled out, as did next highest ranked Justin Rose. Chris Wood, being the third highest ranked Englishman, picked Sullivan as his partner.

The Belfry Named Europe's Best Golf Hotel
The Belfry Hotel & Resort has been announced as Europe’s Best Golf Hotel at the 2016 World Golf Awards in Portugal. The World’s only 4-time Ryder Cup host resort also retained the titles for England’s Best Golf Hotel and England’s Best Golf Course for a third successive year.
James Stewart, The Belfry’s Resort Director commented: “We were absolutely delighted to have retained our titles as the Best Golf Hotel and Golf Course in England for the third consecutive year, but to have taken the European crown and be recognised alongside some of the world’s leading resorts is a huge honour.”
Las Colinas Retains 'Spain's Best Golf Course' Award
For the second year running, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club has been crowned as Spain’s Best Golf Course in the World Golf Awards that took place in Portugal over the weekend.
The category of ‘Spain’s Best Golf Course’ is judged on a wide range of specifications from immaculate course conditioning and layout, to exceptional front of house experience and service.

He has been obsessed with the sport since the age of 8 and currently plays off of a six handicap. His golfing highlights are making albatross on the 9th hole on the Hotchkin Course at Woodhall Spa, shooting an under-par round, playing in the Aramco Team Series on the Ladies European Tour and making his one and only hole-in-one at the age of 15 - a long time ago now!
