Golf Tourism England releases video showcasing golf in Kent

Golf Tourism England have released their second video in their series featuring the finest regions to play golf in England - this time it's Kent.
The film features Royal St. Georges, Princes, Royal Cinque Ports and Littlestone. The first video focuses on England's Golf Coast, see that here.
Footballers to take part in Ryder Cup-style golf tournament
The match sees England pitted against the Rest of the World. Lee Westwood will captain the English team whilst Darren Clarke will captain the Rest of the World side as the pair lock horns on the Brabazon Course at the Belfry on June 23-25.

Michelle Wie signs with Callaway
2014 US Women's Open Champion Michelle Wie has signed with Callaway to play their clubs, ball and an Odyssey putter.

The Hawaiian LPGA Tour player has used Nike clubs for most of her career but has now moved on after the company announced that they would no longer make clubs last August.
Lumine to host European Tour Q-School
The 2017 European Tour Q School Final Stage will be hosted at Lumine Golf and Beach Club for the first time this November.
Having previously been held at PGA Catalunya in the North of the Spanish region, the event will still take place in Catalonia but heads South to Lumine which has hosted the 2nd stage five times - the final is the 3rd stage.
Chris Wood vs Andy Sullivan faceoff
Chris Wood and Andy Sullivan have begun their Desert Swing challenge set by Scott Readman Concepts where the player who earns the most money during the three tournaments will design a headcover for the losing player, the loser will carry the cover for at least four events.
In the event of a tie, both players will design a cover for eachother. When the cover/covers have been used for the four events, both players will sign the cover which will then be auctioned off for a charity of the winners choice.
After week 1, Chris Wood is on €0 after a missed cut and Andy Sullivan is on €3,787.
Sunningdale Foursomes draw announced
The draw for the 83rd Sunningdale Foursomes has been made and there are plenty of European professionals on the list including Abu Dhabi HSBC Champion Tommy Fleetwood.
Also playing are Paul Lawrie, Sandy Lyle, Robert Rock, James Morrison and Callum Shinkwin. See the draw here.

China closes 111 golf courses
It has been revealed that China has 'outlawed' 111 golf courses in the past five years because they have been using too much ground and water, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
Despite golf course construction being banned in 2004, almost 500 new courses have been built. In 2015, the Chinese Communist Party warned its 88 million members not to play golf, likening it to "extravagant eating and drinking" and other bad habits.
