The Shire Trophy
38 schools, 104 students, descended on The Shire Golf Club, the new Seve Ballesteros course to play in The Shire Trophy

The largest and most prestigious one day event for independent schools in the UK took place on the 2nd July. Over 50 schools applied to play in the annual event.
Trophies and prizes were awarded to the best team gross and nett, along with gross and nett trophies in two age groups.
The Shire Trophy was won by Halliford School from Middlesex.
The nett Trophy went to Claires Court School.
Individual gross winner Simon Clement received his trophy along with a Galvin Green waterproof and a free lesson at the Butch Harmon School of Golf.
