The Oxfordshire announce opening of new Hotel & Spa

The Oxfordshire has announced the July 2010 opening of their Hotel & Spa, which will provide a state-of-the art destination close to the M40.
The Oxfordshire's existing 7313-yard Championship golf course is the only British course designed by the parkland pioneer, Rees Jones. However the four-star hotel, with luxury spa and 15-metre pool, six flexible conference rooms and signature Sakura restaurant, will also attract business groups and tourists.
The hotel design has been overseen by Jennifer Gibbons - joint owner with Paul Gibbons - who has drawn on the world's best hotels.
Jennifer said: "The hotel has a country-club feel, with soft furnishing and fabrics in the rooms."
Paul Gibbons has built up Leaderboard Golf - which is behind the hotel development - since selling his founding stake in Autotrader Magazine in 1998. "We already have a world-class course at The Oxfordshire and we wanted world-class accommodation to go with it," says Paul.
Tim Pettifer, General Manager of the hotel, says: "This is a very good period for us to be opening. Being this close to Oxford - and its newly renamed London Oxford Airport - we will be top of the list for luxury tourism and business travel.
"Being positioned within arguably the UK's top region for heritage tourism - and with as good food as you can find anywhere locally - we really have an unbeatable combination."
