Skechers GO GOLF Out of the Box Comfort 54-hole Challenge
Golf Monthly is teaming up with Skechers to offer two golfers the opportunity to experience for themselves the rapidly growing golf shoe brand’s ‘Out of the Box Comfort’ this July.
Skechers is now the #2 footwear brand in the US having enjoyed huge global success in recent years.

Among the high-profile brand ambassadors now wearing shoes from its GO GOLF performance collection are Russell Knox, who wears the GO GOLF Focus model, and Matt Kuchar, Colin Montgomerie and 2017 PGA Tour winner, Wesley Bryan, who all wear a selection of shoes from the GO GOLF Pro 2 and Elite 2 ranges.
These ambassadors have all had a hand in shaping the fit and aesthetics of the Skechers GO GOLF 2017 collection.

- A day out at highly regarded Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club in East Sussex on Thursday July 27, in which they will get to play three rounds over the club’s Old and West courses to find out just how comfortable Skechers golf shoes are straight out of the box.

To be eligible, you must be…
- Able to attend the day at Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club, Forest Row, East Sussex on Thursday July 27, 2017.
- Aware that this will be a long day involving an early start, a late finish and 54 holes of golf walking.
- Prepared to feature in regular Golf Monthly and Skechers print and digital content during the course of the 2017 season
Jeremy Ellwood has worked in the golf industry since 1993 and for Golf Monthly since 2002 when he started out as equipment editor. He is now a freelance journalist writing mainly for Golf Monthly. He is an expert on the Rules of Golf having qualified through an R&A course to become a golf referee. He is a senior panelist for Golf Monthly's Top 100 UK & Ireland Course Rankings and has played all of the Top 100 plus 91 of the Next 100, making him well-qualified when it comes to assessing and comparing our premier golf courses. He has now played 1,000 golf courses worldwide in 35 countries, from the humblest of nine-holers in the Scottish Highlands to the very grandest of international golf resorts. He reached the 1,000 mark on his 60th birthday in October 2023 on Vale do Lobo's Ocean course. Put him on a links course anywhere and he will be blissfully content.
