Scotsman sets up online museum to display one of the largest private collections of golfing memorabilia in the world
The Scottish Golf Museum has unveiled one of the largest private collections of golfing memorabilia in the world.
It is the result of 10 years of collecting memorabilia by Gary Dempster, from Troon, and offers a fascinating insight into golf and its history. The collection tells the story of golf's humble origins in Scotland right through to the modern day, worldwide phenomenon it has become.
The online museum contains various sections ranging from specific competitions such as The Ryder Cup to individual Scottish golfers and contains hundreds of items of memorabilia used by golfing greats from around the world.
