Moor Park Golf Club are hosting a FREE golf weekend for people of all ages, the day will include coaching from PGA Professionals at no cost. By James Taylor
Moor Park Golf Club are teaming up with First Degree Golf Academy to host a brand new Golf Academy Open Weekend, which will be happening over the Easter Bank Holiday.
During the four days there will be various different events happening, this will include FREE group golf lessons for Adults and also Children who are aged between 4 and 10 run and coached by the PGA Professionals from First Degree Golf Academy, this is ideal for people just looking into beginning golf and looking to learn.
There are also free individual lessons but these are limited and are recommended for people looking a improving their current game. Refreshments will be provided free of charge and also equipment will be on hand for players.
First Degree PGA Professional, Rob Darwin stated, “Golf is a fantastic sport for all ages and we are looking forward to welcoming new and existing players over the weekend. The relaxed atmosphere of the days will mean the Open Weekend is a perfect way to enjoy the game with family and friends.”
Individual lessons will be completed during the day and must be booked in advance whereas the group classes will be taking place at 11am – 12.15pm and then 3pm – 4.15pm. Places must be book as soon as possible, to do this contact 01923 774113, or email, info@firstdegreegolfacademy.co.uk.

The Moor Golf club is situated in Hertfordshire around 15.5 miles northwest of London and it is a suburban residential development. Home to a total of two golf courses, the Moor Club is cerainly one the best, and not a bad place to start off playing the game of golf.
The Mansion covers over 300 acres of woodland and parkland, with two championship style courses and maintains tennis courts including grass and hard courts.
Some of the Competitions that are played at the well known high course are, The English Senior Open, Carris Trophy County Championship and the Hertfordshire Stag.
