With the 2014 Manchester Golf Show taking place at Event City from April 25-27, we take a look at some of the best reasons to visit the golfing extravaganza

Following on from the success of the inaugural Manchester Golf Show last year, the popular event returns once more to Event City - adjacent to the Trafford Centre - from April 25-27.

The Manchester Golf Show is operated by the Golf Show Group, who have run 16 golf shows in London, Birmingham and Manchester over the past nine years.

Below, we take a look at some of the main reasons to visit the event, which looks posed to be bigger and better than ever before.

Free qualified instruction:

A number of leading PGA-qualified coaches have confirmed their attendance for the show, and will be offering free instruction on all aspects of play. Some of the revered coaches on hand to share their expertise include Andy Gorman, the European Tour-accredited Putting Coach and the Trafford Centre's Rick Shields - one of the north west's most esteemed coaches - as well as pros from the Lee Westwood Golf School and the European Golf Teachers Federation.

A number of courses local to the Manchester area are forming a "Golf Club Showcase" at the Manchester Golf Show. The only dedicated golf show in the North West

The Manchester Golf Show is the only dedicated golf show in the North West, and the popularity of the inaugural event in 2013 helped demonstrate the sheer number of golf fans in that part of the country. The Golf Show Group is extremely experienced in running top-quality events, having staged 16 golf shows accross England over the last nine years.
