Spain’s Las Colinas Golf & Country Club has won the Golf Resort accolade in the International Hotel & Property Awards
Las Colinas Golf & Country Club has been crowned with the Golf Resort accolade in the International Hotel & Property Awards, hosted by Design et al. & the Design Society.
The winners were voted for by the public and announced at a ceremony in Venice. The awards recognise outstanding standards in hospitality, interior design and architecture from across the globe.
“Being voted best Golf Resort by the general public is a fantastic endorsement for the Las Colinas brand, particularly within an enormously competitive category,” said Antonio Montoro, Vice President, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club.
“This tremendous honour reflects the high standards and exceptional quality intrinsic to the design of Las Colinas and is credit to the hard work of all members of the team and the commitment to delivering the A World Apart vision.”
The Golf Resort category considers additional attractions and services that seamlessly integrate with cutting-edge property.
“The quality of the golf course and adjoining facilities have been central to attracting international visitors to Las Colinas and instrumental in the early real-estate success of the resort,” said Las Colinas Golf & Country Club Managing Director, Cristobal Guerrero.

“This accolade comes on the back of our recently launched plots and villas within the Olivo, Palmera and Enebro communities, and complements the outstanding architectural design of our properties and unique leisure experiences.”
The Spanish resort, located south of Alicante, has become a leader in attracting international leisure visitors and second-home owners to the region since its opening in 2010.
Selling all 137 properties built in the first phase of construction, international interest in the newly released villas and plots has validated the growing appeal of Las Colinas’ tranquil setting and the measured vision of its owners.
In addition to giving rise to one of Continental Europe’s Top 100 Courses, the tranquil setting is also home to the International School of Falconry, a Golf Academy, tennis and paddle tennis courts, an ocean front beach club, gymnasium, enso sushibar, nature trails through 200,000 square metres of natural space, and new Las Colinas Experiences that emphasise the stunning natural beauty of the surrounding region.
