Following a series of successful events in 2009, Golf Factor returns for 2010 with plans to stage the competition throughout the UK.
Golf Factor is a junior talent golf competition that aims to identify talented young golfers within in the UK and work with them to enhance their skills. The competition begins with 140 junior golfers from Yorkshire participating, who are then whittled down over three stages en route to the final.
The three eventual winners will receive equipment from Nike Golf, coaching from the staff at the John Letters Golf Academy and advice from leading sports psychiatrist Karl Morris.
Golf Factor's Yorkshire competition will take place at the Stadium Driving Range, while other competitions will also be held in East Anglia at Cambridgeshire Golf Club and Conferencing Centre as well as Merseyside's Moreton Hills Golf Centre.
The competition is free of charge and open to golfers of all abilities between the ages of eight and 16.
The first stage of the Yorkshire event will take place on the May 1-2 at the Stadium Driving Range, Huddersfield. The deadline for all entries is March 31, 2010. To enter visit johnletters.com/golfFactor
