De Vere Slaley Hall Earns Prestigious TravelAdvisor Award
De Vere Slaley Hall golf resort has earned TripAdvisors' 'Certificate of Excellence Award'.
The golf resort De Vere Slaley Hall has earned the ‘Certificate of Excellence Award’ from the popular travel review website, TripAdvisor, placing it amongst the top 10 percent of golf resorts.
The award identifies top golf courses based on the quality and quantity of TripAdvisor reviews within the past 12 months. During this time, Slaley Hall consistently received an average rating of four out of five or higher. The Northcumberland resort was within the top 10 percent of world golf resorts, qualifying it for the award.
Slaley Hall prides itself on an exceptional golfing experience and hospitality before, during and after a round. The resort has developed a reputation as a top tournament venue, as it has hosted many professional tournaments.
In Golf Course & Estate Manager Steve Cram’s tenure, the resort has hosted six European Tour and 13 European Senior Tour events, and his team prides itself on maintaining the courses in excellent condition throughout the year.
Keith Pickard, the Group Director of Golf for Slaley Hall, is excited to be recognized by the popular travel site, after many years with the resort. “It is very pleasing to see Slaley receive such a prestigious award, and it underlines the resort’s position amongst the world’s leading 10 percent of golf venues,” Pickard said. “Some people don’t realise quite how impressive the golf courses are before they visit, but I would encourage everyone to go along and make the most of the stunning conditioning.”
Pickard attributes the award to the hard work of everyone involved in the resort’s experience. “It is a testament to the incredible work of the full team at the resort, as these reviews are based on the full golfing experience,” he said. “We take pride in providing the very finest experience for every visitor and guest all year round.”
