2015 Solheim Cup: Team Europe
Hull, Pettersen and Matthews are among those taking on the USA
We take a look at the players representing Carin Koch's team this year.
The teams have been announced and the stage is set. Now we play the waiting game until the 2015 Solheim Cup begins.
Team Europe are captained by Carin Koch as they try to defend the trophy they've won for the past two editions.
England's Charley Hull and Melissa Reid are among the 12 women who qualified or earned a capatain's pick for the tournament in Germany.
We decided to take a better look at the players who will take on Juli Inkster's Americans...
Azahara Munoz

Ranked at no. 23 in the world, Munoz has appeared in two Solheim Cups before and possesses a record of 4-3-1. Her sole LPGA Tour victory was in 2012 at the Sybase Match Play Championship.
Melissa Reid
There's no doubt that Reid is arriving at St Leon-Rot GC in solid form. She has five top 5s on the Ladies European Tour this year, with her only win of the year coming at the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open.
Caroline Hedwall
It doesn't take a genius to work out part of Koch's reasoning for selecting Hedwall. In the 2013 Solheim Cup, the Swede won five points from five matches, the first player to do so.
Sandra Gal
With an appearance at the successful 2011 Solheim Cup and an LPGA Tour title to her name - both in 2011 - , Gal knows how to win. Her best result of this season was sixth place at the LOTTE Championship.
Catriona Matthew
One of Koch's captain's picks, Matthew brings a wealth of experience to the team. She has 100 career top 10s and four LPGA Tour titles. Add to that seven Solheim Cup appearances and the Scot could prove to be invaluable.
Anna Nordqvist
A win and seven top 10s this year for Nordqvist makes her a strong contender in Germany. With three previous Solheim Cup appearances, she won't be fazed by the American challengers.
Karine Icher
Another of Koch's wildcard picks, Icher is no. 57 in the rankings. She made the first of two Solheim Cup appearances in 2002 and played again in 2013, finishing with a record of 2-1-1.
Carlota Ciganda
There's been a habit of missing cuts recently that will no doubt irk Ciganda. However, she did finish T4 at the ANA Inspiration earlier in the year. Her record in the Colorado win two years ago was 3-0-0.
Charley Hull
It's likely Hull will want to be remembered for being more than just the youngest ever Solheim Cup player. She was 17 when she played in 2013 and with five top 10s this year she has a chance of leaving another lasting impression.
Gwladys Nocera
A missed cut at the World Ladies Championship was followed by a win at the Lalla Meryem Cup for Nocera this year. Only Suzann Pettersen was ranked ahead of her in the automatic qualifying places.
Caroline Masson
A Solheim Cup debutant in 2013, Masson had a record of 2-1-1. Her best result of this year was seventh place in the HSBC Women's Champions tournament.
Suzann Pettersen
One of the most decorated players on the European team, Pettersen also has seven Solheim Cup appearances to her name. With 15 LPGA Tour victories, including two majors, she'll give Koch's team the fear factor.
