Lawrence Dodd won the 66 Pro Tour 2010 final at Walton Heath Golf Club which will be aired on Sky later in the year.
Dodd [Thetford] finished with three straight birdies to force a play-off with Lloyd Campbell [Rochester & Cobham], after both players had carded eight birdies in their seven-under-par rounds of 65.
The play-off was fought out in fading light with Dodd holding his nerve to win the title and £5,000 prize with a birdie three on the 18th the third time around.
"I am delighted to finally win on the 66 Pro Tour and especially the tour final," said Dodd.
"With the tournaments being over one round, making mistakes can be costly and picking up a birdie on the last can make all the difference.
"I still can't believe I managed to birdie the last three and win on the third play-off hole. It's a finish I will always remember!"
Ben Jones shot a 66 to finish third on a day when scoring was of the highest level with more than 30 players finishing under par on a day of variable weather conditions.
