Kingsbarns Links appoints new CEO
Top 100 and British Open qualifying course appoints Alan Hogg as new CEO to take over from Stuart McEwen this month
Kingsbarns Golf Links has announced the appointment of its new CEO.
Alan Hogg, formerly of upscale golf resort Golf & Vital Park in Bad Waldsee in southern Germany, replaces Stuart McEwen who had managed the course from its opening in 2000.
Scotsman Hogg, is a former PGA touring professional and European Challenge Tour member. He is expected to begin in his new role immediately.
Hogg was named Coach of the Year by the German PGA in 2002 and achieved Master Professional status in 2007.
Company chairman, Art Dunkley said: "We are pleased to have a proven executive of Alan's calibre join our dedicated management team.
"We are honoured to be ranked amongst elite golf courses in the world and Alan has a clear vision of how to take Kingsbarns to an even higher standard of excellence."
Hogg said: "I am very much looking forward to taking up this position at Kingsbarns. It has deservedly earned a reputation as one of the finest golf courses in the world.
