Kingsbarns announces inaugural Belhaven Best Spring Cup
54-hole competition to be held in March over Kingsbarns Golf Links and the Duke's Course at St Andrews to mark the start of the season

Kingsbarns Golf Links is inviting golfers to take part in its new season-opening tournament.
The inaugural Belhaven Best Spring Cup will take place from March 29 to March 31 and is being supported by The Belhaven Brewery, Scotland's premium beer producer.
The 54-hole tournament is comprised of two rounds on the Kingsbarns Golf Links with a round on the Duke's Course at St Andrews sandwiched in between.
Competitors, who will play in teams of four in a better ball stableford format, will also enjoy three nights' luxury dining and accommodation at the Old Course Hotel.
Alan Hogg, chief executive of Kingsbarns Golf Links, said: "Kingsbarns is entering its 12th season this year and the Belhaven Spring Cup will be a wonderful way to celebrate this milestone.
"We are delighted to be working with the Old Course Hotel to offer golfers a combination of world class golfing and dining. This is an excellent way for golfers to start their season off in style here in St Andrews and I would urge them to take the opportunity to play in the first ever staging of this event."
To reserve your place call +44 (0)1334 474 371 or email the Old Course Hotel. The price of the package is £725 per person (total team cost £2900) with rates based on two people sharing an Eden Room for double occupancy.
