BlackStar Sports Golfers Impress in 2013
Golfers under the BlackStar Sports management group enjoy great start to season
BlackStar Sports have enjoyed a fantastic start to this year's golf season, with a number of their players wrapping up wins on England's developmental tours.
The sports management company, who have a corporate sponsorship deal with Liechtenstein and London-based Bank Frick which covers all eight of their players, boast an impressive stable of golfing talent.
Former European Tour player and Walker Cup hero Stuart Manley has proved hard to beat on the Jamega Tour.
Manley, who is based at Celtic Manor, completed a wire-to-wire three shot victory in the event at Burnham and Berrow Golf Club at the end of March.
In the very next tournament at Bowood Golf and Country Club he was again in the lead after the opening round but finished third.
Manley said of his relationship with BlackStar: "With their support I can achieve my goal this season of getting back on the European Tour. I'm very excited about what the future holds."
Jamie Howarth is yet to finish outside the top-10 in five starts on the 1836 Tour and has notched up two wins, the most recent of which came in mid-April when he trounced the field for a four-shot triumph at Wychwood Park.

"Being part of BlackStar is great, they help in any way they can, whether it be to find sponsorship, arrange my travel or offer advice," said Howarth, who played in the 2008 Open at Royal Birkdale.
Jeremy Robinson is in charge of BlackStar's golfers, and as a former European Tour professional, understands the needs of today's emerging professionals.
He said: "At BlackStar we're committed to helping our athletes perform to their full potential. The results so far this year speak for themselves and I'm sure they'll continue throughout the season."
BlackStar Sports will endeavour to provide for their clients as they fight to gain their cards for next year's European Tour.
