Whittle to represent EGU in Junior Open
Harry Whittle, a member of the England Under 16 Training Squad, has been selected to represent the EGU in the R&’s Junior Open

Harry Whittle will represent the EGU in the R& s Junior Open at Heswall Golf Club on 14th - 16th July.
Whittle (pictured - photo courtesy of Tom Ward) from the Woburn club, sprang to prominence last year when he won the Douglas Johns Trophy as well as the Scottish Boys Under 14 Championship. He also finished tied sixth in the English Boys Under 14 Championship for the Reid Trophy.
These successes almost earned him an under 16 cap, but he was named as reserve for the Under 16 International with Scotland and later played for the England under 16 side against the England under 18 girls team.
Whittle was named in the England Under 16 Squad this year and will celebrate his 15th birthday four days after the Junior Open.
