Tommy Fleetwood finished top of the Titleist FootJoy EGU Order of Merit in 2010 and to mark his achievement he was presented with the trophy at a special ceremony at Formby Hall Golf Club.
The 20-year-old Lancastrian topped the 2010 table with 1221.31 points, almost 300 more than runner-up Andrew Sullivan and third-placed Tom Lewis.
The presentation was made by EGU Chairman Nigel Evans watched by
Fleetwood's parents, Sue and Peter, and by many of the Formby Hall
members.
Most of Fleetwood's points came from victory at the English Amateur at Little Aston but among his other successes he finished runner-up in the Spanish Amateur and the European Amateur Championship.
Fleetwood was also the leading scorer in the international with France at Chantilly, helped England win the European Nations Cup and almost upstaged the Challenge Tour professionals in the English Challenge at Stoke by Nayland, again finishing second just prior to joining the paid ranks.

"It was great to win the Order of Merit because although I won the English Amateur, it is all about your performances over the year," said Fleetwood.
"Now I've turned pro I'm going to miss the EGU and England. I always enjoyed playing in teams and I enjoyed working with Dave Ridley and the other coaches. England has such a good set-up and I have nothing but praise for all those people who helped me."
