Adcock one of six new England caps for Home Internationals
Newly crowned English Champion Todd Adcock is one of six new caps in the England squad that will defend the Home Internationals title at Muirfield Golf Club in Scotland on 3rd - 5th September

Keenan also enjoyed a successful English Amateur, reaching the last 16. Having graduated from the University of Texas last year, the Sunningdale golfer won this year s Berkshire Trophy and has achieved five more top ten finishes including fifth place in the Chiberta Grand Prix.
Pepperell, the English Under 14 Champion in 2005 and runner-up in the Under 16 Championship in 2006, reached the semi-finals of the British Boys last year. This year, he lost a playoff for the McEvoy Trophy, finished runner-up in the Bernard Darwin Salver and was a semi-finalist in the Spanish Amateur. He also reached the last 16 of the English Amateur.

He has been successful across the Atlantic over the past three years and is currently 33rd on the R&A Amateur World Ranking. He lost to Adcock in the English Amateur semi-finals.

Uzzell won the Brabazon Trophy in dazzling style this year, a week after making his England debut against France. The left-hander, who was another victim of Adcock s victorious run in the English Amateur, won the Russian Amateur last month and played all four rounds of the Russian Open on the European Tour. He has been a member of Yorkshire s winning County Championship team for the past two years.
Whitnell, the Daily Telegraph Junior Champion in 2006 and the North of England Youth Champion last year, was a semi-finalist in this year s Australian Amateur, third in the Portuguese Amateur, runner-up to Haines in the Lytham Trophy but won the Lagonda and Tillman Trophies. He made his full England debut in last year s Home Internationals and also played against France and in the European Men s Team Championships.
Haines, Hutsby, Uzzell and Whitnell have just been selected to represent GB&I against the Continent of Europe in the St Andrews Trophy later this month.
