The Players Championship Golf Betting Tips
This week on the PGA Tour is the unofficial 5th Major The Players Championship at Sawgrass
One of the Tour’s most popular events, mainly due to the 17th hole and the fun the surrounds that.
Last year the event was won by German Martin Kaymer, on his way to winning the Players and US Open in the same season, and the defending champion is a very generous 66/1 to repeat the feat.
The field is led by Rory McIlroy (7/1) and Jordan Spieth (15/2), both tough to pick unless lumping on one of them. While Henrik Stenson, who won here back in 2009, at 18/1 will also look good to some.
The course is a hugely demanding one and one that can punish and lead to big numbers, so I have gone for players with exceptional ball striking.

The Players Championship Golf Betting Tips advised bets
Tiger Woods £2 each way at 40/1 with Coral – last time he played here he won in 2013, showed great encouragement with his 17tth placed finish at the Masters. Has just broken up with his girlfriend.. and when that happened to Rory he won the BMW Championship!
Dustin Johnson £2 Each way at 33/1 with Bet Victor – Although not having a record to shout about at Sawgrass there is no reason he can’t be successful here. Is having a very decent season with five Top 10 performances already.
Bubba Watson £1 each way at 50/1 with Betway – Could not quite believe he has this long odds… Five top tens including a win this season. His record at Sawgrass isn’t incredible, but it isn’t shabby either with a load of made cuts.
