Royal Lytham and St Annes hole-by-hole: hole 4
Royal Lytham Hole-by-hole

Hole 4 Par 4 391 yards
This is the first par 4 under 400 yards, but it plays directly into the prevailing wind. The hole is a dogleg from right to left, naturally favouring a tee shot placed on the right hand side of the fairway. If the tee shot is positioned too far left, the heavily-bunkered green becomes virtually unsighted.
