Royal Lytham and St Annes hole-by-hole: hole 17
Royal Lytham Hole-by-hole

Hole 17 Par 4 467 yards
The landing area from the tee is intimidatingly small, with 10 bunkers demanding accuracy from the tee. The hole turns left from the fairway towards an open green guarded on both sides by bunkers. A plaque amidst the fairway bunkers pays testament to Bobby Jones's second shot en route to victory in 1926.
