OOB lurks all the way down the right with the the fence that marks the route of the old railway into St Andrews. Principal's Nose is the cluster of bunkers that makes for a tight fairway so the percentage option is to lay up left to leave a short-iron to a green that has a sharp ridge curving across the front. The green is guarded at the back and to the left.
